Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Junior Trader to join our trading desk and assist in managing market-making and proprietary trading books across multiple asset classes.

The initial focus of the role will be supporting and progressively managing an INR trading book, while the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop and run trading strategies across other asset classes based on experience, demonstrated capability and opportunities identified by the desk.

The role combines market making, risk management, relative-value trading and proprietary strategy development, with capital and risk limits allocated according to the trader’s experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

INR & Market-Making Book

• Assist in the day-to-day management of the firm’s INR trading book.

• Monitor INR spot, forwards, NDFs, futures and related derivative markets.

• Provide competitive pricing and support market-making activity within approved products and limits.

• Manage positions arising from client flows and trading activity.

• Identify appropriate hedging instruments and venues to manage market, basis and liquidity risk.

• Monitor onshore and offshore INR markets, including movements in forward premiums, funding conditions, liquidity and cross-market pricing.

• Identify relative-value opportunities across different INR instruments, maturities and trading venues.

• Develop a strong understanding of market microstructure and liquidity across the products traded by the desk.

Cross-Asset Trading

• Assist senior traders in managing market-making books across relevant asset classes.

• Monitor opportunities across FX, precious metals, commodities, rates, equities and exchange-traded derivatives, depending on the firm’s trading mandate.

• Analyse relationships between cash, futures, forwards and derivative markets.

• Identify pricing dislocations and relative-value opportunities across products and venues.

• Support execution and hedging of institutional and client-driven trading flows.

Proprietary Trading

• Research, develop and execute proprietary trading strategies using capital allocated by the firm.

• Develop trading ideas based on macroeconomic, relative-value, quantitative, event-driven or market-microstructure signals.

• Back-test and analyse trading ideas before deployment where appropriate.

• Maintain clearly defined entry, exit, sizing and risk-management parameters for proprietary positions.

• Continuously review strategy performance and adapt positions as market conditions change.

• Present new trading ideas and strategies to senior members of the trading desk for review and capital allocation.

Risk Management

• Operate strictly within allocated position, VaR, stop-loss, drawdown, tenor and product limits established by the firm.

• Continuously monitor trading exposures and ensure positions remain within approved risk parameters.

• Understand and manage outright, basis, spread, volatility, liquidity and correlation risks where applicable.

• Escalate material market movements, limit utilisation or unusual trading conditions promptly.

• Maintain disciplined position sizing and risk management across both market-making and proprietary books.

• Assist in stress testing and scenario analysis of trading positions.

Trading Desk Management & Analytics

• Monitor intraday and end-of-day P&L and explain key drivers of trading performance.

• Maintain accurate records of positions, hedges and trading activity.

• Review execution quality, transaction costs and slippage.

• Produce daily trading and risk summaries for senior management where required.

• Analyse historical trading data to identify opportunities for improved execution and profitability.

• Assist with reconciliation of positions between trading systems, brokers, counterparties and internal records.

• Work closely with operations, risk, finance and compliance teams to ensure accurate trade capture and settlement.

Market Analysis

• Monitor global macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, interest rates, liquidity conditions and relevant market news.

• Develop a detailed understanding of factors affecting INR markets, including RBI policy, domestic liquidity, interest-rate differentials, capital flows and offshore positioning.

• Track key market indicators and identify changes in positioning, volatility and liquidity.

• Develop and maintain pricing, risk and market-monitoring tools for the trading desk.

Execution & Technology

• Execute trades efficiently across approved electronic platforms, exchanges, brokers and counterparties.

• Develop strong familiarity with professional trading platforms and market-data systems.

• Use technology and automation to improve pricing, execution, monitoring and trading workflows.

• Work with internal technology teams to improve trading tools and desk infrastructure.

• Participate in testing and implementation of new trading venues, products and systems.

Governance & Compliance

• Conduct all trading activity in accordance with the firm’s approved trading mandate, policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable ADGM and FSRA regulatory requirements.

• Maintain appropriate records and documentation relating to trading activity.

• Follow applicable market-conduct, best-execution and risk-management requirements.

• Work closely with Compliance and Risk when introducing new instruments, counterparties or trading strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in trading, market making, treasury, proprietary trading, execution or a similar front-office markets role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce or another quantitative discipline from a recognised university.

• Master’s degree, CFA, FRM or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in FX, emerging markets or INR markets would be highly desirable.

• Experience with FX forwards, NDFs, futures, options, commodities, precious metals, rates or other derivative products is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading mechanics and risk management.

• Ability to understand P&L attribution, position risk, carry, basis and hedging relationships.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, CQG, Trading Technologies or similar professional trading systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Python, SQL or other analytical/programming tools is desirable, particularly for strategy research and automation.

• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and operate effectively in fast-moving markets.

• Strong commercial judgement combined with disciplined risk management.

• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in financial markets.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a trading desk.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• High standards of integrity and professional conduct.

• Must be located in or willing to relocate to the UAE.

Job Description:Trade Support Officer will need to possess the necessary knowledge, skills in the financial services sector as to understand the Company’s business, the applicable legislation and will be responsible for trade support activities including timely and efficient document processing and implementation of systems and procedures. Further, need to have a good understanding of compliance procedures, risk management and market operations and possess necessary certification.

Roles & Responsibilities:• Take primary lead role in all client trading activities.• Handling clients and groups allocations in all Trading Platforms.• Configuring clients and groups settings (Margin rates, visible symbols, Markup, Commission, Swaps etc.)• Assist with various aspects of the trading process, including but not limited to execution, riskmanagement, daily operations, and overall desk activities.• Ability to communicate directly with clients and our financial counterparties.• Ensure orders and trades are properly entered and confirmations are communicated to clients.• Reporting on news that occurs throughout the day.• Monitoring MT5 manager and ensuring correct pricing.• Write Market Recap report and include Economic news updates, and main economic events of the day.• Supervise and monitor trades on CFD and DMA platforms.• Check expiries, dividends, and holidays and confirm with traders and clients.• Respond to messages on both email and Teams.• Taking offline trades, if necessary, and placing on them directly onto global exchanges.• Updating swaps on MT5• Preparing trade file trades taken during the shift and to be sent to Backoffice.• Management and training of Trade Support team.• Ensure to escalate issues to suitable IT staff if necessary

Qualifications and Skills:• Master’s in finance preferred or bachelor’s degree in commerce / economics / accountancy from a recognized university.• Good knowledge of Derivatives (exchange traded or otherwise) including CFDs and FX industry, Meta trader 5 platform, CRM system, ADGM and FSRA regulations.• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy.• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.• Works independently and as a part of a team.• Must be located or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi & Dubai.• 5 years of experience in a similar position in the financial service industry is preferable.
